Starting at around 6:00 am America/New_York time we began experiencing what appears to be a distributed denial of service attack against one of our caching web servers. This server is being used by three members. Due to the volume of the attack it overwhelmed our upstream Internet connection, thus cutting traffic for all members in that location. At about 8:45 am America/New_York time our upstream provider blocked traffic to that IP address so that service could be restored for all members except the three using that address. We are in the process of bringing the three still affected sites back online in a way that protects the rest of our members. - -- Este aviso es un Upate al asesoramiento previo sobre un corte de luz en nuestras instalaciones de Telehouse. Comenzando a las 6:00 am hora de América / Chicago comenzamos a experimentar lo que parece ser un ataque de denegación de servicio contra uno de nuestros servidores de almacenamiento en caché. Este servidor está siendo utilizado por tres miembros. Debido al volumen del ataque que abrumó nuestra conexión a Internet aguas arriba, cortando así el tráfico de todos los miembros en esa ubicación.
