Following our control panel upgrade on Wednesday evening, 2018-11-07, about two
dozen web sites experienced downtime starting after the upgrade completed and
sporadically throughout the day on thursday, friday and saturday.

The downtime was caused by minor bugs in our new control panel code.
Specifically, our script that re-generated all web site configurations failed
to notify us of errors that occurred during the regeneration. As a result, all
web sites with old configuration directives that are no longer supported,
silently failed. Once we discovered this problem thursday afternoon, we
re-generated all web configurations again, tracked down and fixed the errors.
However, we still experienced sporadic problems until we realized on saturday,
that all instances of php5 and php7.0 had to be fully restarted.
